The console can also be used as a pause function during scenes or dialogue that cannot otherwise be paused.
The console prompt will appear in the lower left-hand corner of your screen. From the console it is possible, while playing the game, to enter commands that will alter most aspects of gameplay, and it is also possible to obtain detailed information about NPCs, creatures, and other items in the game. The console is a powerful in-game tool only available to PC players.
